Organic. 100% Nebbiolo. Bricco Boschis is a relatively large vineyard with western exposure sitting around 200-300 meters above sea level. Compared to Rocche di Castiglione, the soil here is much richer in heavy clay, resulting in lush fruit, intense color, solid structure and pronounced tannins, all of which contribute to longevity. Roccheviberti has several different parcels within the Bricco Boschis vineyard, with Nebbiolo planted higher up the slope, a small parcel in the middle called Vigna Melera planted to Dolcetto, with Barbera planted in the parcel known as Vigna Lunga at the lowest altitudes. The Nebbiolo vineyards include vines around 35 years old and a larger section that was re-planted about 5 years ago. 29 days contact with the skins in stainless-steel tanks. Our unique tanks trap the CO2 naturally produced in fermentation and then released periodically in targeted jets in order to break the cap of skins formed on the top of the must.
