From two plots Pluchots and Grands Champs. No new wood. Intense purple. The concentration of the vintage shows without any loss of Volnay elegance which starts to show in enhanced aromatics at the back of the palate. The tannins are entirely integrated and there is just the right acidity to maintain freshness. Very persistent once again.
