Terre Dorées Morgon 2024 750ml

Morgon is a deep, pure and structured example of the vintage that is going to be a superb wine once it is ready to drink, but it is going to need plenty of cellaring time to soften up its tannic structure. The wine comes in at a svelte 12.5 percent alcohol in this vintage and offers up a precise and nascently complex aromatic constellation of black cherries, pomegranate, sweet cranberries, pigeon, woodsmoke, espresso, fresh thyme and dark and stony soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, focused and full-bodied, with a rock solid core of fruit, great mineral drive and grip, ripe, well-integrated tannins and a long, well balanced and tangy finish.
