We were only able to get 3 cases of this. One of the most joyful expressions of Moscatel I've tasted. 100% Moscatel de Alejandría from mountain vineyards around Almáchar, El Borge and Arenas, planted on brutally steep slate slopes. The wine is fermented in stainless steel, with the second fermentation also taking place in tank using the Charmat method. It tastes completely of Málaga: white flowers, citrus blossom, ripe stone fruit and tropical fruit, with bright acidity and a persistent salty quality underneath all of that perfume. Fresh, aromatic and incredibly easy to drink—exactly the kind of bottle I want with seafood, fried fish, tapas or simply as an everyday wine.
