24g/l RS, 9.3g acid, 10.5% alc. The 2023er Riesling Feinherb is harvested 100% from young vines in the Niedermenniger Herrenberg, a grey-slate site with iron-red highlights. This lower altitude slope is slightly warmer and gets picked earlier, which lends itself well to an off-dry style. Matured 1/3 in barrel and 2/3 in steel, the wine pops beautifully in the glass. With its startlingly racy acids in the aromas and palate, it reads dry for many tasters.
