The 2022 Riesling Haardter Herrenletten Erste Lage was fermented in Doppelstück_ and Stück with a smaller portion in tonneau and stayed on gross lees until bottling. The nose is slightly closed, and a hint of caramel appears and disappears in quick succession. The palate is creamy with oak but also bright with lemon. A denser core is still tight and firm. The 2022 is smooth, glowing and will take time.
