To achieve a stringent selection in the Grand Cru wines, we have been combining the second best sites from the top single vineyards to create our Terra Montosa, since the vintage 1990.
The name “Terra Montosa” comes from Latin “steep land” found in a certificate dated 1074, which records the original wine growing history of the vineyards in the Rüdesheim slopes.
Very complex nose of wet stones, rhubarb, white peaches and flowers. Dense yet delicate, structured and filigree, this medium-bodied wine shoots across the palate with a linearity that reminds me of Australian dry riesling, but is married to wonderful wild-herb delicacy.

It has really impressive depth, is precisely proportioned and has a lot of finesse at the very long finish. Try to be patient, if you want the best from this delicate masterpiece. From organically grown grapes with Fair’n Green certification. Drink or hold.
