The 2022 Riesling Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad G.C. is from lighter, sandier soils, relatively flat, on Triassic sandstone. The nose is not forthcoming. The palate, however, unites overtones of tangerine with a smooth, serene, fluid body that packs quite a punch of freshness. This is stonier, more direct, linear and not quite ready to talk to us yet.
