Stunning interplay of flinty minerality, restrained citrusy fruit and very elegant acidity. Such a graceful finish that glides off in the direction of the distant horizon. From biodynamically grown grapes. Wild-fermented in large neutral oak.
Produced again since 2014 and from vines planted in 2004, the 2017 Reiterpfad G.C. is pure, intense and concentrated on the tight, elegant and lemon-scented nose. Dense, lush and very elegant on the palate, this is a finely tannic and concentrated, persistently salty Riesling with a long and complex, very promising finish. The 2017 was not accepted as Grosses Gewächs by the VDP. Tasted in Wachenheim in December 2019.
