Darker in color because of the Domina and Regent, yet the wine is a bit deceptive as it drinks like a light red, with fresh berry fruits, a meaty, savory, herbal edge to it, yet great energy and lightness. Almost drinks like a white wine? The dominant grapes in this wine are Domina, Regent and Schwarzriesling (aka Pinot Meunier). There are a few magic ingredients as well, about 5% of skin-fermented Pinot Gris and 5% of a mix of red hybrids from a plot up on the hill that has very low yields, but a dark and mysterious personality.
