A blend of mostly Tempranillo with a tiny bit of Viura. Manual harvest, with a selection of whole clusters. Vinification in open wooden tanks without maceration and fermentation for 8-10 days with two small daily pumping overs. Malolactic fermentation in barrel and clay amphora. Aged for 15 months in used 500-liter French oak barrels and in a 500-liter clay amphora.
Dark cherry color, very intense in a classic way. On the nose it is elegant and complex. Remarkable concentration of ripe fruit aromas with a great abundance of earthy and balsamic nuances. The fruit-forward flavors stand out with a mineral and spicy character. Ripe, creamy and noble tannins. Very long and and persistent finish.
