Organic. Drawn from the 2.5ha of Sauvignon Blanc vines that are planted on conglomerate soils of sand, silt, and clay, located directly around the Tscheppe family farm called ‘Rabusella,’ in the Steiermark village of Fötschach. Fermented spontaneously and macerated for two weeks in used 225L oak barrels; then pressed off and left to age one year on full lees and then another year in bottle. Unfined, unfiltered, 10 mg/L SO2 added to the wine before bottling.
