Mostly Monastrell (a touch of white grapes like Airen with this vintage) which somehow sings in harmony unlike so many others from the region making motor oil. Could be because she foot-stomps whole clusters with low extraction, ferments with native yeasts in concrete and transfers the wine to old 500L foudre for 8 months before bottling unfined, unfiltered, and no SO2. We've been chasing her down at natural wine fairs and begging for more cases for years. We get a tiny amount, and that's it for the year. Incredibly tasty, dark berries, and the tiniest bit spritzy (in the good way) when you open it!
