The Rosé (or light red if you'd prefer), was another absolutely picture perfect wine for this style.  I REALLY enjoy rosé with a little more skin contact, its a perfect take on the style, and turns those fruit notes from light watermelon and strawberry into ripe raspberry and cherry, without the freshness or drinkability suffering.  This wine will rule your summer grilling season.  Pair it with grilled salmon, grilled veggies, salads, burgers- you name it, or just pull it from the cooler on the next patio hang..  Just because its darker doesnt mean it is less refreshing-- this is a VIBRANT, GLOWING wine that makes you feel like you're drinking liquid red jolly ranchers.
