Von Winning Riesling Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad Trocken 2023 750ml

The 2023 Riesling Ruppertsberger Reiterpfad Erste Lage was harvested throughout parcels classified as Grosse Lage within this Erste Lage site. It was made partly in large neutral barrels, Doppelstück, Stück and tonneaux. Reduction is tame but definitely subdues the nose—only gentle citrus escapes for now. Juiciness, roundness and clarity, however, are superbly bright and present on the palate. Lovely concentration boasts depth and smoothness, but the footprint remains slender, fine and bright. This is an elegant, smooth and beautifully layered wine with much understatement.
