Making of: Grapes were hand-harvested, gently pressed then fermented and aged
in a 600L barrel for 4 years without topping-up. Bottled without fining or filtering, no addition
of sulfur.
Personality:
2016: We all know this guy is capable of incredible wines but wow. Dense, focused, precise, incredibly layered, and full of details that Christian cares about so much. Truly unique and rare white.
2020: “A discovery journey to see what happens to highly mineralic grape juice, if kept in wood for an extended period of time. Not topped up during aging it turned out a beast of a wine: a golden coloured, one of a kind elixir. Dry, textured, layered.”
