Grape: 100% Pinot Noir
Vineyard: Vád, certified organic and farmed by Zsolti himself. Head-trained, planted in 2010. Clay-loam topsoil with a high level of calcium on marine sediments.
Making of: the grapes are hand-picked and destemmed. Maceration of 14 days in open-top vats, with no crush, just very soft pigeage. Indigenous yeasts only. Aged for 10 months in old 220L barrels. Bottled by gravity without fining and filtration, no SO2 added.
Personality: tangy and well-balanced between its noble Pinot pedigree and fiery Slovak upbringing.
