An incredible site and one of the steepest vineyards in this stretch of the Mosel, Thomas Haag’s Juffer Sonnenuhr is a masterpiece. The Sonnenuhr is a small sub-section of the larger Brauneberger Juffer, producing distinctive, dazzlingly complex wines. This Spätlese shows the warmth of the vintage without being too ripe; the aromas very fine, with hints of savory, woodsy and kitchen-herb spiciness that makes this such a unique site.
