Bright medium ruby-red. An iron-like note of reduction to the aromas of raspberry, mocha, brown spices, flowers, earth and smoky minerality. Densely packed, salty and extremely backward; impressively dense but still a bit mute owing to its reductive quality. But the wine’s toothdusting tannins are very nicely managed.
