Louis-Claude Desvignes Beaujolais Blanc Sans Bois Ni Loi 2023 750ml

100% Chardonnay. 2023 is just the third vintage of white wine at Desvignes, the first in the domaine's 8 generations. The 0.26-hectare plot of vines planted in 2005 is in the same vineyard as the Gamay for their relatively new "L'Aube à Javernières", on deep clay soils technically just outside the Morgon appellation at the edge of Javernières. The farming is certified-organic and the harvest by hand. The bunches are mainly direct-pressed with around 20% destemmed. The wine goes through malo and is aged in concrete egg for 7 months and bottled with a light, non-sterile filtration.
