Color : Sparkling straw yellow, bright reflections. Nose : The nose meets all expectations of grape variety and region. Sauvignon Blanc at its best. The round of aromas starts with lime, grapefruit and blood orange. Some gooseberry, bergamot, elderflower and orange zest join in. It discreetly shows stoniness and some smoke. Kaffir lime leaves, lemon balm and parsley also become increasingly clear. Palate : Fruity and punchy, the Mon Village makes a brilliant start. Dense and packed with aromas, it shows its full potential at the first sip. The ripe green fruit as well as subtle yellow and herbal aromas leave their mark on it. However, with all its density, it also lives from a good portion of stoniness. This takes away some of the heaviness and makes it seem darker, cooler and more elegant.
