Chateau Yvonne Saumur-Champigny Le Beaumeray 2020 750ml

Biodynamic & certified organic. 100% Cabernet Franc. Le Beaumeray cuvée is an old vine selection (55+ years) from a 0.5 ha part of the Beaumeray parcel, one of the three parcels that goes into the Yvonne Rouge. This part of the parcel has an aeolian soil profile - with a significant percentage of sandy topsoil brought in by the winds off the Loire river- over a limestone and clay subsoil. The cuvée was aged 2 years in in neutral 225 liter barrels, and then an extra 12 months in bottle before release. Approx annual production: 80-120 cs.
