The 2023er Lambertskirch Kabinett, as it is referred to in the central part of the label, was made from fruit harvested at 78-79° Oechsle in this south- east facing Lieu-Dit overseeing the Saar and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (44 g/l). This bright-white-colored wine offers a rather backward nose made of minerals, wet stone, citrusy elements, barbeque herbs, and smoke. The wine is nicely juicy yet subtly creamy on the palate but proves beautifully playful and engaging in the long finish. Creamy elements add a slight air of Spätlese to the experience in the aftertaste. 2028-2038
