Vinyes Tortuga Libertango 2021 750ml

The first white ever made, second vintage release in 2021 vintage, named after the Grace Jones song "I've Seen That Face Before (Libertango)" from the Tortuga vineyards which were grafted in 2018 from vines on their mentor's property - Joan Ramon Escoda - and the first ever harvest was summer 2020. Field blend of Chenin Blanc, Macabeo, Garnacha Blanca and Parellada. Grapes are organically grown on slate and schist soils in the Alt Empordà. Hand harvested, 100% destemmed and 3 days on the skins. Fermentation with native yeasts and aged in barrel for 6 months on the lees. Acidity is fresh, while fermented in oak. Only 600 bottles produced.
