Sourced from two parcels of vines, one 45 years old and the other 110 years old, raised in neutral Burgundian barrels.  The 2021 displays a return to classicism with its high-toned red fruit and dense dark cherry; exotic dried floral spice, phenomenal lift.  This wine is always a standout; the 2021 is a real show-stopper thanks to its combination of early drinkability and deeply satisfying complexity.
