Fruit for this old-vine cuvée comes from 40-year-old vines in the lieux-dits of Les Artaux and Chamery. Notes of sour cherries and crushed rocks lead to a saline-driven finish. (20% whole clusters were used.)
Neal Martin of Vinous gave it 91-93 points, describing it as medium-bodied, fresh, and vibrant with pliant tannins and a twist of sour cherry on the finish. Some reviews also highlight its expressive bouquet with raspberry and bergamot scents, and a floral character. A line of minerality running through the crystalline red fruits, and real tannic finesse.
