100% Tempranillo grown organically from entirely pesticide-free vines planted by Julien's late grandfather in 1970, located in Coruña del Conde at more than 1000 meters above sea level. Grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed, macerated for 40 days, native fermentation in fiberglass tank, malolactic fermentation in 15 year old barrels. Continues to age for 48 months then bottled and laid down in their cellars for 4 additional years before release. Unfined, unfiltered, zero SO2. Annual production is 1,305 bottles.
