Our vineyards of Rasteau are planted on a hillside covered with large ‘pebble stones’, ensuring splendid grapes year in, year out. The dry microclimate also contributes to this regularity of success. The Mediterranean garrigue soil here particularly suits Mourvèdre, an ancient grape variety which proves an ideal blending partner for the Grenache. The result is a deeply-coloured, well-structured red with great ageing potential and serious spicy and animal complexity.
