he 2023er Wolfer Sonnenlay Riesling Kabinett was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (43 g/l). It offers a quite aromatic and finely ripe nose of yellow fruits, almond cream, William pear, orange blossom, jasmine, and a hint of quince. The wine has a certain richness and fruity feel on the juicy palate, where also Spätlese type of fruits come through. The finish is playful and relatively light, like a true Kabinett, with zesty notes of rhubarb and candied grapefruit. This is well-made, in a direct and nicely attractive style. 2028-2038
